This is a fun and easy learning activity involving dinosaur painting.
It’s a perfect activity for the toddler or preschooler who loves dinosaurs and a great way to get them more familiar with their name.
Here’s what you’ll need to get started:
Supplies
Set Up
Let your toddler or preschooler choose what colour they want to paint their name.
My 3.5 year old loves purple so we just used purple but your can use any colour they choose.
On the kraft paper write your child’s name using the marker.
Next show your toddler or preschooler how to dip the toy dinosaur into the paint and use it to make dinosaur foot prints along each letter of their name.
This is a great opportunity to learn colours with toddlers and review colour mixing with preschoolers. It is also a perfect opportunity to learn the names of their favourite dinosaurs.
This is a great fine motor skills activity that will also help your toddler and preschooler recognize the letters of their name. This is also a great pre-writing activity.
