Our Sensory Play Kits are a fun and easy way to keep your child engaged while at the same time capitalizing on the benefits of sensory play to nurture their mind!

How to Set Up Ice Kitchen Water Table

Playing with ice is a surprisingly fun activity for toddlers and preschoolers. So easy to set up and very little mess especially when you do it outside. We did this type of ice sensory bin in the winter inside and it was a massive hit. So when summer arrived, I knew I had try it again outside.

Our water table has seen better days but honestly it is just as fun as the day I bought it. I removed the center piece so that it could hold a pot instead and add lots of cooking utensil such as large spoons, whisks and sloted spoons and other pots for them to play with.

Then I added all the ice from our freezer and a little bit of water to help make it easier to scoop. If you are doing this on a really hot day, skip the water.

How They Played Ice Kitchen Water Table

They loved it! They scooped and poured the ice into the pot and pretended to cook up all sorts of dishes. My only regret with this activity is that I didn’t have more ice to give them!!
