Here is a fun and simple to set up counting activity for Christmas. A great way to practice counting with your toddler, preschooler or kindergartner this Christmas.
Here’s how to get started.
Grab your number puzzle and remove all the pieces.
Grab all your jingle bells and tweezers and have your little one count out jingle bells and place them into each number of the puzzle.
Fine Motor Practice
I gave my happy four year old a pair of tweezers to use to pick up the jingle bells. She used it for a few but them switched to using just her hands.
Using the tweezers with the jingle bells is a great fine motor exercise but it can be very challenging.
But don’t fret, using their fingers is also a great fine motor practice!.
Not Enough Bells
We did not have enough jingle bells to count out bells 20 puzzle spots and if you are in the same situation not to worry.
Once your little one has counted out all the bells, have then start taking bells from the first numbers and fill up the next numbers.
Great Activity
This was such a great counting activity for Christmas and a big hit with my four year old!
