How to Set Up Play Dough Tool Painted Turkey Craft

This painting activity is super easy to set up and it is perfect for toddlers. I did this with my twin toddlers and the mess was minimal. We still put smocks on them but this was such a fun activity.

I first was introduced this painting technique by Play Teach Repeat. Go check out her blog, its fun of amazing ideas!

Grab all your play rolling or cutting tools. The ones shaped like pizza cutters. Tape a large sheet of white paper to the table.

Cut out a. turkey body using from brown construction paper along with a beak and snood from orange and red construction paper respectively.

Glue the body to the sheet of white paper and glue the beak and snood to the turkey body. Add googley eyes as well.

Grab 3 colourful bowls and pour red, yellow and orange paint into the bowls.

Invite your little one to dip their play dough cutter into the paint and then roll it around the turkey body to create line feathers!
