The days are getting longer, the weather warmer and the sun seems to be shining more and more. Even my almost 4 year old noticed the coming of summer! So I decided to do this super easy and sunshine craft using my favorite kitchen utensil to paint with – a potato masher.
Here’s what you’ll need to create your own Potato Masher Sunshine:

Easy Directions to Make Potato Masher Sunshine Craft
Gather your supplies. Using the scissors cut each yellow straw into four.
Dip the potato masher into the yellow paint (make sure the entire surface is covered in paint so that it stamps a full circle) and stamp once in the center of the blue construction paper.
Before the paint dries add the googly eyes to the face of the sun.
Using the glue, glue down the straw pieces around the yellow sun face to make the rays of sunshine!
Dip a q-tip into the black paint and dab it on to make a mouth for the sunshine.
