Day Spa for Baby Doll Bath Activity
Create this simple day spay for baby dolls with little more than rose petals that you can usually get from the dollar store around Valentine’s Day. Picked some up and we first did this activity around the. But is has quickly turned into a fun addition to our baby play time activities.
I used two sensory bins for this activity. One sensory bin was filled with water and bubble bath to make a bubble bath and the second sensory bin was filled with water and the red and pink artificial rose petals. This activity would also be fun to do using real rose petals. I plan to do it again the next time my husband buys my roses and they have put loved their beauty.
Next, I added some sponges and wash cloths and towels and let the kids wash and wash the babies over and over again. It was amazing how long this last!
When they were done in the bubble bath they rinsed them off in the rose petal bath. The petals cling to the babies and the kids pretended to make clothes with them.
Sensory Bliss
This was a total hit with the kids. My son loved it but left before the girls did but he soon returned and rejoined the fun. The potential to learn body parts as well as how to take care and spoil those you love was immense!
