Prepare the Cardboard: Use the paper plate as a guide to trace a circle onto your piece of cardboard with a pencil.
Glue the Cotton Pads: Spread glue all inside the circle. Place cotton pads in the glue filling up the circle with cotton pads.
Make your Colors: Fill each bowl with water and add a few drops of blue food coloring to one and green to the other. Stir the water to mix the color in thoroughly. Add your eye droppers to each bowl.
Add Color to the Earth: Using the eye droppers, add color to the cotton pads to create the planet earth. Remember is doesn't have to be perfect - add green for the land in different places and in-between add the blue for the oceans.
Display Your Craft: Once dry, your Cotton Pad Earth is ready to be displayed! Use this craft as a centerpiece to discuss the importance of Earth Day and our planet.
