Ingredients
- Trumpet template (download for free below)
- Black paint
- Bottle of white glue
- Watercolors
- Paint brush
- Glitter
Instructions
- Prepare the Black Glue: Mix black paint with white glue in a bowl until you achieve a consistent, dark color in a 1:1 ratio. The mixture should be smooth and easy to squeeze out of the bottle.
- Outline the Template: Pour the black glue mixture back into the glue bottle with a narrow nozzle for easy application. Trace the outline of the trumpet template with the black glue mixture. Let it dry completely, which may take a few hours.
- Paint Your Trumpet: Once the black glue outline is dry, it's time to bring your trumpet to life with watercolors. Paint inside the lines, adding colors as you see fit to make your trumpet vibrant and lively. Don't forget to paint about the trumpet as well.
- Add Some Sparkle: While the paint is still wet, sprinkle some glitter over your trumpet. This will add a magical touch to your craft, making it sparkle and shine. Or you can add glue around the end of the trumpet and sprinkle the glitter there to represent the sound emerging!
- Let It Dry: Set your masterpiece aside to dry. Once it's completely dry, your Black Glue Trumpet is ready to display!
