Start with a Square: Gather your supplies. Begin with a square piece of origami paper, color or pattern side down.
Fold Diagonally: Fold the paper in half diagonally to form a triangle. Fold it again to create a triangle. Unfold the triangle to start with the square paper with the creases. Take the bottom right corner and fold it up to the top corner. Repeat with the bottom left corner, forming a triangle shape.
Fold the top layer of the top corner down to the bottom, then unfold to create a crease.
Tuck In: Following the crease you just made, tuck the bottom corner into the pocket formed by the folds.
Repeat with the other side.
Fold the creases. You now have your corner bookmark.
Add Details: Cut small pieces of pink or white paper to glue in for the inner ears if desired. Cut out two white s=circles. Use a marker to draw the eyes. Cut out two white circles and a rectangle for the cheeks and teeth. Also cutout an oval from pink construction paper for the nose. Glue them on. Use a black marker to draw on the eyes, whiskers and teeth.
