Ingredients
- Single hole punchPink, red, and purple construction paper
- Glue
- Scissors
- White card stock
- Bowl or paper plate (to contain confetti)
Instructions
- Make the Confetti: Start by using the single hole punch to create confetti from the pink, red, and purple construction paper. Collect all the punched-out pieces in a bowl or paper plate to keep them contained and ready for use.
- Prepare the Heart Template: Cut out a heart shape from the white card stock. This will serve as the base for your confetti heart.
- Trace the Heart with Glue: Place the card stock heart on your work surface. Using the glue, carefully trace the outline of the heart. Be generous but precise with the glue to ensure the confetti sticks well.
- Remove the Heart Cut Out: Carefully lift the card stock heart away, leaving a sticky heart-shaped outline of glue on your work surface.
- Sprinkle the Confetti: Over the glue outline, sprinkle the confetti you made earlier. Gently press down on the confetti to make sure it adheres to the glue. Shake off any excess. Sprinkle the excess on the heart glue until it is completely covered and the heart outline revealed.
- Let It Dry: Allow your confetti heart to dry completely. Turn you craft into a card for Mother's Day or Valentine's Day by writing a short heartfelt message. Or display your craft proudly!
