Hopping Bunny Craft

Ingredients
- White Paper cups
- Pipe cleaners
- Yarn
- Card stock
- Rubber bands
- Scissors
- Permanent marker or pen
- Glue
- watercolour paint/tempera watercolour cakes, water in a bowl, paint brush
- sharpies, colouring pencils, pastel crayons, markers
Instructions
- Paint two white paper cups in your desired colors. Cut out ears from white card stock and paint them as well. Set them aside today.
- Glue on google eyes.
- Decorate one of the cup as the bunny's nose using a dot sticker and draw on a mouth using a black marker.
- Once the bunny ears are dry, glue on pink felt inner ears.On the bunny cup, make 4 cuts at the bottle or the opening of the cup across from each other.
- Cut two elastic bands. Tie a knot at each end of the elastic bands.Slide one end the elastic bands down one the slits in the cup and the other end across from it. Repeat with the second elastic band so that the two bands are crossing. Place the rabbit cup on top of the second and cup press it down and watch it hop up!
- Final touches. Glue on a large Pom Pom on the back of the bunny for a tail. Cut a pipe cleaner in half. Use a pencil to poke a hole on either side of the nose and slide one of the pipe cleaner in for whiskers. Add some hair by cutting off a bunch of yarn and gluing it to the top of the bunny's head.
