Paper Strip Heart Craft

Ingredients
- Pink, red, and purple construction paper or Valentine's Day themed colored paper
- Glue
- White card stock or white construction paper
- Scissors
Instructions
- Prepare the Heart Template: Begin by cutting out a heart shape from the white card stock or construction paper. This will serve as the outline for your craft.
- Cut the Colored Paper: Take your colored construction paper or themed paper and cut it into 1-inch strips.
- Arrange and Glue the Strips: On a separate piece of card stock or construction paper, start gluing down the strips horizontally across the page, slightly overlapping each strip to create a layered effect. Trim any excess paper from the sides.
- Attach the Heart Outline: Once the background is complete and the glue has dried, apply glue to the back of your heart outline and carefully place it over the top of the layered strips, centering it on the page.
- Final Touches: Press down gently on the heart outline to ensure it adheres well to the striped background. Allow your craft to dry completely before displaying or gifting.
