Start by cutting the apples in half to create a flat, stamp-able surface.
Before getting hands-on with the paint, cut out different facial expressions from the black construction paper.
Pour out some vibrant orange paint onto a paper plate. Now take an apple half, dip the flat side into the paint ensuring it’s nicely coated but not dripping, and stamp it onto a sheet of paper to create a round, pumpkin shape. Repeat this with as many pumpkins as you desire.
Once the orange pumpkin shapes are dry, it’s time to bring them to life! Apply glue onto the back of the black paper faces and then stick them onto the orange circles to create pumpkin faces with a range of expressions!
Encourage kids to use their creativity to add further details. They could paint on stems, or perhaps add leaves using green paint.
Allow your newly created pumpkin family to dry completely before finding the perfect spot to showcase the art.
