- Leaf Collection: Begin by heading outdoors to collect a selection of freshly fallen leaves. Look for leaves with unique shapes and sizes to create a diverse "pie crust."
- Pie Base: On a sheet of white construction paper draw the shape of a slice of pie.
- Pie Filling: Cut brown leaves into pieces with scissors. Find orange leaves and cut those into smaller pieces with scissors. Glue the brown pieces to the top of the slice of pie for the crust and the orange pieces to the pie for the pumpkin part of the pie.
- Whipped Cream Topping: Glue a few cotton balls onto the center pie as the pie's luscious topping.
- Finishing Touches: Allow your pumpkin pie to dry completely. Once dry, you can add extra details like "cinnamon" sprinkled on top or a dollop of "whipped cream" on the slice.
