Paper Plate Ghost Craft

Servings: 0

Ingredients

  • White paper plate
  • White construction paper
  • Black construction paper
  • Scissors
  • White crepe paper streamers
  • Double-sided tape or glue
  • Pencil

Instructions

  • Begin by tracing your child's hands onto the white paper and then cutting them out. These will be the ghost's hands.
  • Cut out eyes, a mouth, and any additional features like teeth or eye balls from the black paper. Also cut out two curved arms from the white construction paper.
  • Attach the black paper features to the white paper plate using double-sided tape or glue. Encourage your child to create a friendly or spooky expression for their ghost.
  • Attach the handprint cutouts to the top of the arms and then attached the arms to either side of the plate having the hands reaching upward. This gives your ghost a more lifelike appearance.
  • Cut strips of white crepe paper streamers and attach them to the bottom of the paper plate using tape. These will be your ghost's trailing ectoplasmic streamers.
  • Once your Paper Plate Ghost is complete, display it proudly in your home. You can even hang it on a window for a ghoulishly delightful Halloween decoration! Use double sided tape to display on a window.
