DIY Alphabet Puzzle

This ABC puzzle activity is so simple to set up. It also creates a fun way for your toddler to learn or improve their letter recognition skills. It can be done with foam letters of numbers as well! Here’s what you need to get started:

SUPPLIES:

SET UP:

Trace around the letters on the paper using a pen. Then place all the letters used in a pile or basket and have your toddler match the letter to the outline.

For younger toddler, say the sound of the letter not just its name. This better helps to prepare them for learning letter sounds later on. For older toddler, have them identify the sound and letter name.

My toddler loved this activity and it was super easy to set up.

When she finished it, she wanted to do it again! I have saved this puzzle to bring out again in a few week. Since its just paper it folds and stores easily.
