How to Set Up Eyeball & Pom Pom Sensory Soup

Grab all your supplies. Place the green, purple, orange and black pom poms and Halloween eyeballs in the sensory bin. Add water, and your fine motor tools such as tweezers or tongs, soup spoon or ladle.

This is a fun sensory activity all on its own but you can add an additional colour sorting element to the activity by providing colourful bowls so that your little one can use the tools to sort the pom poms and eyeballs by colour.

How to Dry the Pom Poms

There are a few ways to dry pom poms. Remove them from the water and squeeze all the excess water out them and place them on a towel to air dry.

The key to keeping your Pom Poms nice and soft and fluffy after putting them in water is drying throughly as soon as possible. I try to get mine out of the water as soon as the kids are done playing.

If you have a mesh laundry or drier bag you can put them in there and then place them in the drier on low.
