Rainbows plus hearts is a formula prescription for a fun activity! I set this up for my happy four year and she was in heaven and I was able to clean up after breakfast!

Here’s how to get started!

Gather your supplies. You will need about 3 minutes to prep for this activity.

On the white paper draw a big red heart. Then inside draw an orange heart. Continue drawing hearts inside one another in all the colours of the rainbow.

Hand the red dot stickers to your little one and ask them to stick dot stickers along the red heart. For young toddlers model this for them as well as tell them!
Hand your little one the rest of the dot stickers and ask them to match the colours stickers to the correct heart. For toddlers only hand them one colour at a time. They may not get to all the colours of the rainbow in one sitting either and that is ok. You can revisit the activity later in the day or later that week.
Learning Opportunities
This is a great fine motor activity for toddlers and preschoolers. It is also a great busy activity for kindergartners.
This is also a great activity for learning and practicing colours.
