INSIDE: DIY Tambourine Craft is a fun and easy musical instrument craft for toddlers and preschoolers. Create a musical craft that you can use during music time with this easy activity using paper plates!

DIY Tambourine Craft

Grab two paper plates and start to decorate them using paint sticks, stickers or even glitter glue. Remember to decorate the plates on the bottom of the plates.

Once you have decorated both sides of the tambourine fit the two plates together with the decorated side on the outside and take a single whole punch and make 6 holes along the edge of the plates. Take 3 pipe cleaners and cut them in half. Thread one half through each hole. Then take a bell and side it on the pipe cleaner. Twist the pipe cleaner closed so that the bell is secure.

Curl the ends of the pipe cleaner into the plates.
