Spring is Here
The air is getting warmer and the signs of spring seems to be just around the corner. Although I am not trying to rush winter away (I love snow activities) I know the writing is on the wall and I am excited for it! Spring time has always been the time when I get our backyard ready for summer.
Gardening With My Kids
Last year things didn’t go as planned, with the kids home and all the garden stores closed, I had little time prepare the garden the way I normal do in spring. But once things normalized I was able to get our outdoor space looking up to snuff and I got the kids to help me and they loved it! Although gardening with toddlers is less about getting things done and more about preventing anyone from getting hurt we had a blast. I know this year will be a lot of fun and I can’t wait till the weather turns warmer for certain and we can actually get out there to start planting.

I’m so excited to share my crafting TV show Curious Crafting which launched in July 2022 on TVOkids and TVOkids YouTube! Season 2 aired in August 2023! My show was also nominated in 2023 for Best Live Action Preschool Series by the Youth Media Alliance Awards of Excellence.

Set in the ultimate crafting space, Curious Crafting is a short form pre-school age series about the joy of making crafts. I lead a rotating cast of adorable little preschoolers (including my own) making magic out of common household objects.
In each episode we transform recycled items into magical crafts like a milk carton school bus, paper bag puppet or cotton pad turtle. The crafters learn and laugh their way through each activity while demonstrating what their young imaginations can create.
