Looking a for fun and easy way to keep your little ones busy this holiday season? Well look to further! Here is a fun and easy Christmas sensory bin that was inspired by all the Christmas baking that usually happens this time of year!
Set up for Christmas Baking Sensory Bin
Grab your sensory bin and fill it with oats.  I bought my oats at a bulk food store. I store them in a zip-lock bag in our craft closet when we aren’t using them.
Add toy baking utensils such as a toy mixer, bowls, wooden spoon, cake pan and measuring cups.
Add red and green squeeze pouch caps. I added these for a bit of Christmas colour. If you don’t have caps you can add pom poms. It just means your clean up will be a little bit more work.
Add other toy baking ingredients like eggs and pine cones. I also added some clear plastic ornament baubles. The kind you can find at a craft store and are great to fill up with oats! This part was not necessarily baking it was just got sensory fun!
I did not have any cinnamon sticks when I did this activity but if I did I would have added a few. It would make the bin smelled amazing!
Play Baking
This is a great sensory bin for imaginative play.
My happy kindergartner loved to bake Christmas cakes and pies for her stuffed animals, decorating them with pinecones and caps!

- 41 Qt, Clear Sensory Bin (Large)
- Plastic Tablecloth
- Masking Tape
- Oats
- Play baking tools
