Coffee Filter Apple Craft is a fun Fall craft for toddlers and preschoolers. A fun fine motor craft idea that creates a stunning craft that looks even better in your window!

How to Make a Coffee Filter Apple Craft

  1. Grab a few coffee filters and spray them completely with red, yellow and green dot markers.
  2. Take a spray bottle filled with water and spray the coffee filter until its completely wet but not soaking. Try not to wet it too much otherwise the color will run a lot but if your little one does it ok! I encourage my kids to color in several coffee filters so they have a bunch to spray.
  1. Set it aside to dry.
  2. Cut out an outline of an apple from black construction paper, a stem from brown construction paper and a leave from green construction paper.
  1. Once the coffee filter is dry, glue the coffee filter to the apple outline. Cut the extra coffee filter part that stuck out from the apple outline.
  2. Glue on the stem and leaf.
  3. Display your apple craft on a window using double sided tape.

TV Show: Curious Crafting

I’m so excited to finally share my new crafting TV show Curious Crafting which launched July 1 at on TVOkids and TVOkids YouTube!

Set in the ultimate crafting space, Curious Crafting is a short form pre-school age series about the joy of making crafts. I lead a rotating cast of adorable little preschoolers (including my own) making magic out of common household objects.

In each episode we transform recycled items into magical crafts like a milk carton school bus, paper bag puppet or cotton pad turtle. The crafters learn and laugh their way through each activity while demonstrating what their young imaginations can create.

Curious Crafting shares the adventure and joy of making art with takeaway lessons for creating crafts at home.

This show designed for toddlers and preschoolers 2.5 years old and up.
