LEGO painted snowflake craft is an easy way to get your toddler painting this winter. Grab a few Duplo and some washable paint for a fun morning activity.
Painting with toddlers isn’t always easy and for me painting with two toddlers can be quite challenging. That is why I stick to fun and simple ideas that my toddlers can do largely on their own! Painting with lego is a great process art activity on its own. We used this fun technique to create unique looking snowflakes.
To set up this fun toddler painting activity you will need the following items:

Snowflake Craft Set Up
Grab your Duplo blocks. I used three blocks stuck together. Grab a bowl and pour out your white paint.
On a sheet of blue paper, draw the outline of a snowflake using a white crayon.

Have your little one dip the Duplo into the white paint and start to paint along the lines that you just drew.

Have them continue until all of the white lines are covered. Let them use both sides of the Duplo to create unique snowflakes patterns.

This is a fun way to create a snowflake for toddlers and preschoolers. And don’t worry if it doesn’t look perfect remember art with toddlers is more about the process than the product.
