One of the first supplies I bought when I first started out doing activities with Miss Z was to buy pom poms. They are so versatile, they are small and easy to manipulate and toddlers love them!

Set Up

This activity is really easy to set up. Dump all the pom poms you have into a sensory bin. The more the better! Let your little one just explore the bin. Depending on their age identity colours and sizes together. When they have had enough of that introduce the colour containers.

I love these stackable balls because the small hole on top is perfect for stuffing pom poms. Also they have different shades of the colours that older toddlers and preschoolers can recognize. They can start to sort the pom poms based on shades as well as colour.   For young toddlers stick with only use a few colour bowls in different colours
