  3. Shake the bag until all the pasta pieces are evenly coated in color.
  4. Spread the dyed pasta on a sheet of parchment paper to dry completely before using.

How to Set Up the Bow Tie Pasta Wreath Christmas Card Craft

1. Prepare the Card Base

Fold a piece of cardstock in half to create the base for your card. Set it aside while you prepare the wreath.

2. Arrange the Wreath

Use a roll of tape to trace a circle. Lay the dyed green bow tie pasta in a circular wreath shape on the front of the card. Arrange the pieces so the ends are touching each other for a full look.

3. Glue the Pasta

Once you’re happy with the arrangement, glue each piece of pasta in place. Let the glue dry completely before moving on to the next step.

4. Add Berries

Use a Q-tip dipped in red paint to add small dots around the wreath, representing holly berries. Let your child decide how many berries to add and where to place them for a personal touch.

5. Attach the Bow

Glue a red bow to the bottom or top of the wreath to complete the festive look. You can use a pre-made bow or create one from ribbon.

6. Write Your Message

Open the card and help your child write a holiday greeting inside. This adds a heartfelt touch to their handmade creation.

TV Show: Curious Crafting

I’m so excited to share my crafting TV show Curious Crafting which launched in July 2022 on TVOkids and TVOkids YouTube! Season 2 aired in August 2023! My show was also nominated in 2023 for Best Live Action Preschool Series by the Youth Media Alliance Awards of Excellence.

Curious Crafting Season 1 is also now airing in Australia on ABC! Watch it here!

Set in the ultimate crafting space, Curious Crafting is a short form pre-school age series about the joy of making crafts. I lead a rotating cast of adorable little preschoolers (including my own) making magic out of common household objects.

In each episode we transform recycled items into magical crafts like a milk carton school bus, paper bag puppet or cotton pad turtle. The crafters learn and laugh their way through each activity while demonstrating what their young imaginations can create.

Curious Crafting shares the adventure and joy of making art with takeaway lessons for creating crafts at home.

This show designed for toddlers and preschoolers 2.5 years old and up.
