AHEAD: Earth Day Heart Sun Catcher Craft is a fun and adorable craft for kids of all ages for Earth Day. Create a beautiful heart shaped Earth Sun Catcher to display in your window this Earth Day!
Earth Day Craft
I am always wary of doing paper crafts for Earth Day. On one hand we want to celebrate our beautiful planet and instill a sense of responsibility for the planet to our kids. On the other hand making crafts with little kids almost always does include a little waste. To help counter this contradiction, I regularly use recyclable materials in our activities and sometimes I make point to tell them that: “hey, did you guys see that instead of throwing that box away, I reused it to make rocket ship for you!”.
