- Q-tips
- Washable kids paint
How To Use Fall Q-Tip Painting Printables
- Print out the Fall Q-Tip Painting Printables package using the link below. Print them out on printer page or on white cardstock. You can print off individual objects or you can print off the entire package.
- Set out your washable kids paint. You can use a paper plate and pour out the paint colors your child wants to use.
- Grab a few q-tips. Using one q-tip dip it into the paint and then fill each dot use the paint. Continue around to complete the picture.
Remember the picture doesn’t need to be perfect if paint fills more than just the circle that is ok! The process of holding and dotting with the q-tip is a fantastic way to strengthen those fine motor muscles in your child’s hand and they are getting the benefits even if the results aren’t perfect. Holding and manipulating the q-tip with their fingers is the real goal of this activity.

I’m so excited to share my crafting TV show Curious Crafting which launched in July 2022 on TVOkids and TVOkids YouTube! Season 2 aired in August 2023! My show was also nominated in 2023 for Best Live Action Preschool Series by the Youth Media Alliance Awards of Excellence.
