Fingerprint Patterns

This is a great early math and fine motor skill activity.

Supplies:

Set up:

Create simple two or three coloured patterns (depending on the age of your little one) with the circle stickers.

Then have your toddler dip their pointer fingers into the corresponding finger paint.

If just two colours then two fingers of paint. If you used three colours then have them stick their thumb into the third colour.

Mess is ok!

Remember this isn’t a piece of art work and if mistakes are make simply ask them if they think that is correct and then gently correct them.

Free Paint Time!

When they have done all the patterns let them have some fun with the finger paints!

ARE YOU GOING TO TRY FINGER PRINT PATTERNS?
