Acorn Crafts for Kids
There are so many ways you can use these templates to paint with your kids. Use a paint brush or other items you have on hand and make it interesting and fun for your little one.
Need some inspiration? Here are some ways that you can use these acorn templates:
Kitchen Tool Painting. Grab some kitchen utensils such as a spatula, potato masher, forks and some washable paint and paint the acorns red, green and yellow. The kitchen tools are a fun and unique way of painting and will immediately intrigue your kids. They’ll make interesting patterns and designs on our acorn.
Salad Spinner Art. Print out the acorns and cut them out. Glue them to card stock or a paper plate. Cut them out in a circle that is similar in size to your salad spinner. Place the acorn inside the salad spinner and add paint drops on the acorns. Put the lid on the spinner and spin! Repeat with more colors.
Sponge Painting. Use sponges to paint the acorns. Cut the sponge into small squares and dip them into washable kids paint and paint the acorns.
Pom Pom Painting. Attached clothespins to Pom Poms and dip them into washable kids paint and paint the acorn templates.
Scrape Painting. Print out the acorn templates. Add drops of paint to the paper. Then scrape the paint using an old gift card or piece of cardboard. Cut them out and glue them on to another sheet of construction paper.
Fizzy Painting. Find the instruction to make fizzy paint here.
