Picture Frame Crafts
I love getting picture frame crafts from my kids. I have so many picture of them on my phone and getting picture frame gives me an excuse to print some of those off. This craft is a fun one to do with your toddler or preschooler. Here are just a few tips. When attaching the hinge clip you can use a hot glue gun or craft bond glue. Of course if you are using a hot glue gun this should be done by an adult. Attach at least 4 magnets to the back of the frame so that it stays up on your fridge. The hung clips are a bit heavy and I found two on the back wasn’t enough. If you use these ones, they are self adhesive.

How to make a Craft Stick Picture Frame Craft
- Gather all your supplies.
2. Paint your craft sticks using water colour paint.
3. Tape them together using packing tape on the back.
4. Glue on colourful details to the corners such as Pom Poms or buttons.
5. Glue on a hinge clip once dry, add your child’s picture.
6. On the back of the craft sticks glue on 4 small magnets so that mom can display her picture frame on the fridge!
This activity is good for kids 2 years and up. My kids are 4, 4, and 7 year old. Younger toddlers will need assistance.
This is a painting activity not very messy at all. That is the great thing about water colour paints. Plus the paint dries pretty quickly as well. Making it a great option with toddlers. No need to wear a smock or protect clothing. You will want to protect your surface with newspaper.
Difficulty to Create
