Every year we host an Easter egg hunt with my family and the kids of course love it! We are pretty traditional and usually keep it simple. My kids don’t get a lot of candy during the day so on Easter we like to fill our eggs with chocolate! But this year I thought it would be fun to spice things up a bit and add some glow in the dark eggs!
It worked out perfect this year since it was pouring rain outside and we weren’t able to set the eggs up outside we did the easter egg hunt inside. Its as just as fun and one outside and I didn’t have to worry about forgetting an egg in the garden!

How to Set up Glow In the Dark Easter egg hunt
Setting up this hunt is dry easy. First you will need purchase a set of mini glow I the dark sticks that are all enough to fit inside Easter egg. You can easily pick some up from Amazon. Most packages come with pastel or brightly shaded eggs which makes it easier to see the glow stick inside. Colours like green, purple, yellow, pink and orange. I recommend purchasing a set with lightly coloured eggs in pastel shapes like yellow and pink for maximum glow impact!
Inside the egg there is a small groove that you can slide the glow stick in. Before sliding the stick in, bend it in half to activate the glow and then insert the stick and close the egg.
This process is easy enough for even kids to try themselves, so save a few for after the hunt for your kids to make themselves.
The other great thing about the eggs is that once your kids find them they can open and play them easily.
