Ahead: Create an Aquarium: An Easy Art Activity for Kids is an amazing art activity for kids of all ages. This easy to set up process art activity is a great way to let your little one get creative while building and designing their own aquarium.

I have to admit this activity was born out of necessity. I needed to get dinner in the oven and I had three kids who also needed something to keep them occupied.

Our ocean creatures were already out in the craft room and I remembered how much fun they had in the Baby Doll Colouring Activity, so I decided tape down a large sheet of craft paper and let them create a giant aquarium or under the sea scene.

It was a huge successs. They immediately started to draw their own fish and ocean creatures. My daughter traced her hand and created an octopus. They traced around the ocean creatures to create starfish, seashell, whales, sharks, seaweed, coral and more.

This create your own aquarium activity was a totally success and I was able to finish making dinner. Plus the clean up was super easy. I let them use paint sticks and markers which don’t leave a mess on their hands or clothing!
