This is a super easy and fun sensory bin activity that was a big hit with my preschooler!
Here’s what you’ll need to get started:

- 41 Qt, Clear Sensory Bin (Large)
- Pom Poms
- Play kitchen Appliances
(such as pots and pans, plates, cups, measuring cups or spoons, wooden spoons, egg cartons and any other toys they have that would be fun to use)
Set Up
The set up for this activity is very easy. First fill your sensory bin with all the pom poms you have.
Then gather some toy kitchen utensils, pots and pans etc.
The pom poms in the activity play the roll of food so there is no need to add toy food to the bin.
Pretend Play
This is a great activity for pretend play and developing your toddler or preschooler’s imagination.
My three year old pretended that she was a chef at a restaurant and I was her customer.
Then I added her dolls and she pretended to serve them, while I was able to duck out and get a few things done around the house.
Easy Clean Up
The great thing about this sensory bin is that the clean up is super easy. If a pom pom happens to leave the bin it is super easy to pick it up and put back!
