- Contact Paper
- Permanent Marker
- Construction Paper (orange and another colour)
- Scissors
- White, black and red Pom Poms
- Painter’s Tape
- Googly Eyes
Directions
On the back of the contact paper, draw the outline of a snowman. I drew arms and mittens and a smile on the snowman but left the nose and eyes for my daughter to add.
Using orange construction paper to cut out a carrot nose and another colour to cut out a winter hat to fit the snowman’s head.
Peel the back off the contact paper and use the painter’s tape to attach it to the wall with the sticky side facing out.
Next, I had my daughter finish the face of the snowman. At three years old, she has such a vivid imagination, that as soon as she added his nose and googly eyes she started talking to him!
After making the face and adding the winter hat, hand your little one the pom poms.
Tell them the black pom poms are buttons for the snowman and the red ones are for his mittens.
Then just let them enjoy sticking on the white snow pom poms all over the snowman’s body!
