How to Craft a Yarn Wrapped Owl

Gather your supplies.

Yarn Wrapped Owl Craft

Grab a toilet paper roll and fold in the center on either one side of the roll to create two pointy owl ears. See picture below for reference.

Tape the end of the yarn on the inside of the tube. Invite your child to wrap colourful yarn all around the tube. I find colourful yarn works best with this craft. Choose yarn that has multiple colours already within it so that your owls have an array of colour without having to use different coloured yarn. Continue wrapping the yarn around the tube until it is covered.

Grab two large buttons and glue them down on the head using craft glue. Cut a beak out of foam sheets and glue that between the eyes.
