Looking for a quick activity to help your toddler or preschooler practice their colours this Easter? This activity is for you.

How to set up Easter Egg Puzzles

Grab your roll of white paper and spread it out on the table or floor. You can use the masking tape to tape it down to make it easier for your little one.

Use the dot markers to create dots all over the paper in random spots. Use colours that you have matching eggs for. For instance, I don’t have red Easter eggs so I skipped the red dot marker.

Gather your Easter eggs. The easiest way to cover the dot maker is to use half of the Easter egg. That is either the top or bottom half of the egg. I had lot of broken Easter eggs so I didn’t need to break any. If your eggs are all new, break just a few for this activity and keep the rest whole.

Invite your little one to use the Easter eggs to cover the coloured dots. As they do talk about the colour they just covered.

When they are done you can use the sheet of paper to let them free draw or let them use a marker to connect the dots.
