Car painted hearts craft is a super fun and easy Valentine’s Day craft that is perfect for your busy little toddler.

Car painting is one of my toddlers’ favorite ways to paint. It is super simple to set up and right on level for toddlers. It makes a great fine and gross motor art activity.

In this fun and easy activity my toddlers decorated their Valentine’s Day hearts using their race cars!

For this activity I cut out a hearts from pink construction paper and taped them to out sensory table. If you are doing this activity indoors it is probably best to cover your surface with newsprint or paper first that will protect your surface from paint.

I would also dress your toddler in a smock. This painting activity can get messy.

Pour a few blobs of red, white and purple washable kids paint on to a paper plate and hand your toddler a plastic race car.

Invite them to dip the car into the paint and use it to decorate their cars!
My toddlers absolutely loved this and asked for more paint several times. They drove their cars back and forth over their hearts creating wondering colorful lines!

This was definitely a hit!
