Earth Day colour sort is a great way to practice colours this Spring! It is also a fantastic fine motor skill activity for toddlers and preschoolers.
In this simple activity your little one will practice sorting green and blue dot stickers on a planet earth drawing.
Match the Colours
First draw a large circle. I create a make shift protractor using a piece of ribbon to draw a pretty good circle. Then a rough in an outline of the continents. Use paint sticks to colour the land forms green and the water blue.
Grab your dot stickers and separate the colours by cutting out the green and blue stickers. And then invite your toddler or preschooler to match the dot stickers to the colours on the planet earth.
