For more easy and fun Easter Activities check out this amazing roundup.
Here’s what you’ll need to get started:
Supplies
(This post contains affiliate links)
- Plastic Easter Eggs
(several dozen)
- Colourful bowls
- Slotted Spoon
- Slotted Turner
Set Up
Fill the tub with water and add the plastic Easter eggs. I usually let my 3 year old do this herself.

Sorting
Set out the colourful bowls along the edge of the tub. I used these for a sorting activity in between playing.

We sorted by colour and size. Depending on the age of your child you can sort but more complex factors or less. For instance we also sorted by texture of the egg- whether is was shiny/ sparkly or not.
She used the slotted spoon and spatula to scoop out the eggs, adding a hand eye coordination element to this activity.

Bath Time Fun
Needless to say this was a total hit! Bath times are made fun when you add an unique and different item.
