Halloween Magnetic Tile Puzzles
We are going to make a Halloween magnetic tile puzzles of a bat, cat, spider and ghost with Connetix Magnetic Tiles! The easiest way to create these Halloween puzzles is to copy the photos below.
Set out the magnetic tiles as pictured and then trace around them with a pencil. Remove each tile one at a time and trace around each tile.
For toddlers, trace around each tile to that they have an outline for where to place each magnetic tile.
For preschoolers and kindergartners, just trace around the outside of the ghost, cat, bat and spider leaving the center of the puzzle blank, This will allow them to figure out the center themselves. There will be more than one way to create the puzzle this way.
You can set up your puzzle on your fridge, garage door or on top of a table. Tape it down using masking tape or painter’s tape. Place the magnetic tiles needed to complete the puzzle in a pile for your toddler. For older kids, you can include a wide range of pieces since the puzzle may have more than one solution.
Invite your toddler, preschooler or kindergartner to complete the puzzle using the magnetic tiles.
If you are doing this activity on top of a table. Hand them some googley eyes for the bat, ghost, spider and cat. They can also add pipe cleaner whiskers to the cat!
