Connetix Magnetic Tiles
Connetix Magnetic Tiles are amazing toys for children of all ages. They facilitate learning and development all through play! From cognitive development, spatial awareness, hand-eye coordination, and fine and gross motor skills. They are also great for encouraging creativity and in this activity your little one will make turkeys using the tiles and a little crafting!

First, you will need to create the turkey bodies. Follow the simple instructions below for how.
Turkey Feather Sorting using Connetix Magnetic Tiles
Make Your Turkey Bodies
- Cut the brown construction paper or foam sheet into 4 approximate squares. Cut out the body of the turkey.

2. Glue, eyes, beak and snoods to the head of the turkey. Make 6 turkeys to attach to the magnetic tile boxes.

Make Connetix Coloured Boxes
Next, create coloured boxes using your Connetix Magnetic Tiles. I arranged the colours of my boxes like a rainbow from red to purple.

Attached the boxes together. Then use a pieces pieces of masking tape and secure your turkeys to the front of the boxes.

Time to Sort the Feathers
Grab your feathers and invite your toddler or preschooler to sort the feathers into the boxes by colour and at the same time give their turkeys feathers!
