This fun Thanksgiving puzzle activity is a great way to develop concentration and spacial awareness in young children. Plus it’s also an excellent way to play with you Connetix Magnetic Tiles!

We have several different sets of magnetic tiles but Connetix are definitely my favourite.

They work with both of our other sets perfectly. They are super strong and durable (my kids have used them as a dance floor with shoes on! I don’t recommend doing this but our Connetix Tiles survived!). They are also just a beautiful and colourful toy all my kids enjoy!

How to Make Magnetic Tile Turkey Puzzles

Cut the brown construction paper or foam sheet in the shape of a turkey body.

2. Glue, eyes, beak and snoods to the head of the turkey.

Take your painters tape or masking tape and create the feathers for your turkey. You can create rectangle shaped feathers or a triangle ones like I did or any other shape you like! Jus be sure that your little one will be able to fill it in using your Connectix Magnetic Tiles.

The the turkey body that your created in the middle of the tape feathers on the floor.

Invite your child to use the Connectix Magnetic Tiles to fill in the spaces inside the painters tape. This is a great activity for building and developing problem solving and fine motor skills.

My happy kids are 6 years and 2.5 years old.
