How to Set Up Monster Haircuts
Grab a sheet of paper and draw a large monster using a black marker.

Next, you either leave it blank and invite your preschooler to colour in the monster before giving them a haircut, colour it in for them or let them cut the hair first and then color! I used paint sticks to colour mine in.

Take a sheet of construction paper and cut it into the shape of the monster’s head and then cut it into strands for hair.

Glue down the hair on the top of the monster. Invite your preschooler to use a pair of scissors to cut the monster’s hair and reveal the monster underneath.

How to Play
You can let your preschooler cut the hair however you like or you can draw lines on the hair for them to cut along.
