Materials
- 6 jumbo popsicle sticks
- Yellow paint
- Paintbrush
- Glue
- 2 googly eyes
- Orange craft felt or foam
- Yellow feathers
- Scissors
How to Make a Popsicle Stick Chick Craft
- Paint all 6 jumbo popsicle sticks yellow and let them dry completely.
- Line the popsicle sticks up side by side vertically so they form the chick’s body. Glue them together to hold the shape. Let the glue dry.
- From the orange felt, cut out:
- 1 small triangle for the beak
- 2 feet shapes
- 1 comb shape for the top of the head
- Glue the googly eyes near the top center of the popsicle stick body. Glue the orange triangle underneath for the beak.
- Attach the orange comb piece to the top middle of the chick’s head.
- Glue one yellow feather on each side of the chick to make the wings.
- Glue the orange foam feet to the bottom back of the chick so they stick out underneath.
- Allow the craft to dry fully before moving or displaying it.
