Here is another easy Christmas craft you can do right now with just a few basic craft supplies and items you have in your kitchen and bathroom.
Here’s what you’ll need to get started
Supplies
(This post contains affiliate links)
- Green and red Washable Tempera Paints
- White Construction Paper
- Rounded Potato Masher
- Cork
- Marker
- Q-Tip
- 2 Plastic or Paper Plates
and/or paint palette
Directions
Gather all your supplies.

All your supplies are here except the Q-tips!
On the construction paper roughly draw the outline of a wreath using the marker.

The outline helps little artists know where to paint.
Pour the green paint onto one paper or plastic plate. Dip your potato masher into the paint.
Stamp the potato masher all around in a circle complexly filling in the outlined wreath.
Pour the red paint onto a plate. Take the cork and dip it into the red then stamp it at the bottom of the wreath to create a bow.
Using the q-tips dipped in the red paint, stamp all around the wreath to create holly berries.
Painting Tips
Sometimes instead of using plastic plates I just pour the paint onto some craft paper beside my daughter. This often easier that using a plate when we are painting and then afterwards I can just throw away the sheet.
