- Clothespins (try to use ones that aren’t too stiff so that your little one can squeeze them. If they have issues have them use both hands as you hold the rainbow)
- Cardboard
- Paint Sticks
- Glue
- Cotton balls
How to Make A Rainbow Colour Matching & Fine Motor Activity
Grab your supplies.
Draw a rainbow using paint sticks on a piece of cardboard.
Take some clothespin and colour the top different colours of the rainbow. On the bottom half glue on a cotton ball. Fluffy it up to make it looks like a cloud.
Time to Colour Match
Time to colour match! Invite your toddler or preshooler to identify and match the colours of the rainbow and create a rainbow in the clouds!
Age Suitability
This activity is good for kids 3 years and up. My kids are 4, 4, and 7 year old.
