How to Set Up Thanksgiving Turkey Shapes Sticky Wall

Grab your orange construction paper and scissors. Cut one large square and one smaller square, one large triangle and one smaller triangle and one large circle and one smaller circle out of the brown construction paper.

Cut out beaks and snoods from the orange and red construction paper. Glue these to the turkey shape heads, along with google eyes.

Unroll and tape your contact paper and stick it up on the wall with the sticky side facing out. Stick the three turkey shape bodies on the contact paper.

Invite your little one to create the turkey feathers using the different foam shapes. For toddlers, sort the shapes into three separate bowls and have them place the correct shapes on the turkey.

For Preschoolers, you can put all the shapes into one bowl and have them sort the shapes on the turkey.

Great Early Math Activity

This was such a fun early math activity for my toddlers and the end results were fabulous! They had a blast create turkey feathers with the shapes.

Although I had to direct them a lot at this age to stick the shapes on the correct turkey they still were full engaged, trying to call out the shapes as the picked them out and making adorable turkey noises every time they stuck up a foam shape.
