Torn Paper Easter Bunny Craft

We love any art project that doubles as a fine motor activity! This Torn Paper Easter Bunny Craft project is the perfect example. Your child gets tot tear paper into pieces to create an adorable bunny! Strengthening hand muscles and making art! best of both worlds!

Materials

Pink and white construction paper
Glue
Google eyes
Glue
Scissors
Blcak marker

How to Make A Torn Paper Easter Bunny

Take a sheet of white paper and invite your child to start to tear it into small to medium sized pieces.

Do the same with a pink sheet of paper. You will only need to tear a half of sheet of pink construction paper.

Take another sheet of construction paper and use a pencil to trace the outline of a bunny ears with ears.

Invite your child to use glue to glue down the torn pieces of paper around the outline of the bunny. Fill in the the bunny’s face using the torn paper. Skip the ears for now.

Once they have completed the head of the bunny, use the pink construction paper to fill in the ears.

Glue on googley eyes. Cut out circle or heart for the nose of the bunny and glue that on.

Use a black sharpie or marker to draw on a smiling mouth and whiskers.

I’m so excited to finally share my new crafting TV show Curious Crafting which launched July 1 at on TVOkids and TVOkids YouTube!

Set in the ultimate crafting space, Curious Crafting is a short form pre-school age series about the joy of making crafts. I lead a rotating cast of adorable little preschoolers (including my own) making magic out of common household objects.

In each episode we transform recycled items into magical crafts like a milk carton school bus, paper bag puppet or cotton pad turtle. The crafters learn and laugh their way through each activity while demonstrating what their young imaginations can create.
