Halloween candy grab was such a hit with my 2.5 year old twins that we ended up doing it all morning!. They grabbed the candy, filled their trick or treat bags with candy all the while trying not let the spiders on the web fall or touch them! If was loads of fun!

How to Set Up Halloween Candy Grab
Grab your large sensory bin and masking tape. Spread the tape over the top and sides of the sensory bin cross crossing it like a web. Be sure to leave large spaces for your toddler or preschooler to stick their arm through to grab the candy.

Next, dump all your Halloween candy in the sensory bin. If you want, perch a few spiders on the masking tape for fun! But if your toddler is afraid of them skip this part.

Hand your toddler or preschooler a paper bag or trick or treat container and tongs.

For toddlers, demonstrate how to use the tongs to grab the candy using their tongs and drop it into their trick or treat bags.

Halloween Candy Grab Game
Tell your toddler or preschooler that they have to grab the candy and fill their bags without touching the spider’s web. The spiders are hungry too and if they knock them down they will eat their Halloween candy!

Make this a fun game! Remember the more you have fun with it so will they!
