The Best Sensory Play Kits for Kids
Play is at the core of learning during the early years and it can take many forms. One of the most important of these is sensory play because it engages all of a child’s senses (taste, touch, smell, sight and hearing) and has a enoumous positive impact on brain development.
Our Sensory Play Kits are a fun and easy way to keep your child engaged while at the same time capitalizing on the benefits of sensory play to nurture their mind!

How to Set Up Fly Swatter Painting For Summer
Grab a large sheet a paper and tape it to the fence using brown packing tape. Pour out some red, yellow and blue washable kids paint on some paper plates and add fly swatters.

Then let your kids dip the fly swatters into the paint and they wack the paper as if they are trying to kill a fly.

How they Played
This was a great activity for talking about colour mixing. Working vertical surfaces is also a great way to work on gross motor skills. And this was just a fun and unique way to paint in the summer!

After a while they started using their hands to paint and started making hand prints no the paper. Be sure to put your little one in play clothing as this is definitely a mess activity.

Extensions
If you want to turn this into a learning activity, write letters or numbers on the paper and invite your little one to cover the letter you call out with the paint. You could also draw small flies with letters on them for them to wack and paint.

Age Suitability
This activity is good for kids 3 years and up. My kids are 3, 3, and 6 year old.
